A one day workshop where Faye will guide you through the steps to make a hardcover concertina, fold out book & teach you some ways to do tab bindings.
You will also learn to make hard covers & simple printing & collage techniques to create decorative cover papers for them.
​
You will learn to do tab bindings - versatile, easy ways to combine decorative elements: single pages or folded pages to create
unique books & booklets.
Concertina books make wonderful sketchbooks or gifts & are great for creating artist books.
​
Once mastered, the techniques you will learn in this unique workshop, can be built upon & used for a variety of creative book making projects.

Faye will guide you through the steps to make a set of 3 notebooks each with a different
Japanese stab binding style.
Japanese book binding is a creative way to make your own books or to make gifts for friends & family.

Once mastered, the techniques you will learn in this unique workshop, can be built upon & used for a variety of creative book making projects.

In this hands on, one day workshop you will be
shown how to create a casebound, hardcover sketchbook.
​
You will learn to make hard covers & simple printing & collage techniques to create a decorative
cover & end papers for them.
The sketchbook will have sewn sections from 300GSM watercolour paper &a hand painted,
paper bound, hard cover.​​
